Your tasks

As a Consultant working for Eufomex as an Oracle Database Developer you will:

  • Work on installation and administration of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Administer and maintain data integrity and security of servers
  • Taking over regular maintenance work (patches, updates)
  • Document SQL Server configurations, business continuity and availability solutions, backup and recovery strategies, operations procedures and steps
Skills

Required:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as Oracle database developer (including  work with parallel queries, partitions, cursors and collections)
  • Experience with data modelling, data warehousing and understanding aspects of data processing systems (OLAP, OLTP)
  • Understanding fundamental components and architecture of the Oracle Database
  • Experience with Oracle Data Guard
  • Advanced SQL (DML, DDL) and PL/SQL knowledge
  • Well-proven abilities in queries performance tuning and optimization PL/SQL code
  • Experience in Financial institutions (Banks, Insurance and Asset Management companies)
  • University degree in Quantitative science such as Computer science, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
  • 2+ years of professional experience with Hadoop and its products​
  • Familiarity with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their respective data & analytics products and platforms
  • Expertise in DevOps tools, including GitHub/GitLab, Jira, and Confluence
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
  • Fluent in German
