Our Net-Zero Commitment: Eufomex GmbH – Sustainability by Conviction

As Eufomex GmbH, a management consultancy based in Munich, we bear responsibility – not only for the success of our clients but also for the future of our planet. We firmly believe that sustainable action begins in every size of company.

We commit to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across our entire business operations by 2040 at the latest. This goal is our contribution to limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, in line with the Paris Agreement and Germany’s climate goals.

Our Strategy: Measure, Reduce, Neutralize

The path to Net-Zero is based on clear, measurable steps and the continuous optimization of our processes.

1. CO₂-Footprint:
   • We will measure our CO₂ emissions annually and report transparently on our progress.
   • We aim for a continuous reduction in emissions year over year and set reduction targets.
2. Our Measures:

Mobility & Travel	Prioritizing home office solutions to drastically reduce commuting emissions. For client projects in the region, we primarily use public transport or eco-friendly hybrid vehicles.
Energy & Resources	Active efforts to save electricity (e.g., through smart power strips, switching off devices). Preferred use of green electricity in the office.
Catering & Well-being	Promoting eco-friendly and regional catering at the workplace (e.g., subsidized vegetarian/vegan lunches, regional coffee).
Water & Waste	Treating water as a precious resource through awareness and efficient use. Consistent reduction of single-use items (e.g., reusable tableware, no plastic bottles) and introduction of a comprehensive waste separation concept.
Procurement & IT	Preferring durable and repairable IT equipment as well as climate-friendly office furniture and consumables.

3. Knowledge and Commitment:

1. • We stay up-to-date with national and international Sustainable Development Goals and integrate relevant aspects into our internal processes and, where possible, into our consulting projects.
   • We foster an internal sustainability culture through regular training and the active involvement of all employees in implementing measures.
